Individual Membership in the Vietnam Veterans of America is open to
those who served in the United States Military at any time between January 1, 1959 thru
May 7, 1975.*
Associate Membership (or being a member of the Associates of The
Vietnam Veterans of America) Is open to any citizen who does not qualify as an individual
member yet wishes to join. Prior Military service is not a requirement for Associates.
*A recent ruling by the IRS will change the beginning date of
eligibility to a date more recent than 1959. The new requirement will be posted as soon as
there is an amendment to the VVA Constitution.
